2023 EQS SUV Performance Features
Advanced electric motors generate seamless torque, with one single motor sending 355 horsepower to the EQS 450’s rear wheels. This allows the SUV to go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 6.5 seconds. Dual motors turn that process into all-wheel drive, cutting the time to 5.8 seconds in the EQS 450 4MATIC®.
For the fastest EQS SUV – the EQS 580 4MATIC® – the dual motors add up to 536 horsepower allowing for a zero-to-60 acceleration in 4.5 seconds.
AIRMATIC® air suspension adapts to each wheel and works alongside the driving modes of DYNAMIC SELECT. Rear-axle steering enhances stability on the open road and maneuverability in tight spaces.
Advancing a rich SUV heritage, the EQS features a dedicated OFFROAD mode that raises the ride height, optimizes the powertrain and offers useful graphic displays. There’s also a Carwash mode for an efficient transition while cleaning your vehicle.
