Welcome to the automotive future at Mercedes-Benz of Riverside! We have everything you need to know before making the switch to a Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle (EV). See what’s in store for Corona and Moreno Valley drivers when they make the switch.
Currently, Redlands drivers have sedan and SUV options in Mercedes-Benz EVs. The Mercedes-Benz EQB SUV brings the agile handling of a compact SUV with the tremendous fuel economy of an EV. For larger families, the EQE SUV includes seating for up to eight and plenty of cargo space. Likewise, the EQE Sedan brings the sophistication that made Mercedes-Benz an icon, while the EQS Sedan also has a Mercedes-AMG® model for drivers who prioritize performance. Ultra-modern technology powers the EQS SUV and keeps all seven passengers safe, comfortable, and entertained.
Gasoline-Free: Unlike hybrid vehicles, these Mercedes-Benz EVs operate entirely on electricity. Just recharge your EV’s battery and you’ll be on the road without creating tailpipe emissions.
Advanced Technology: Not only will you find the latest automotive technology in your Mercedes-Benz EV, but you’ll also find the latest in navigation, augmented reality, and driver assistance features.
High Performance: Switching to an EV doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice performance. Far from it! You’ll find the performance specs of all Mercedes-Benz EVs to be on par with their gasoline-powered counterparts.
No Range Anxiety: Mercedes-Benz EV batteries have some of the longest ranges in the industry, with many in the 300-mile realm.
Fast Charging: Not only will your Mercedes-Benz EV battery take you far, but it can also recharge quickly. Your Mercedes me Connect system will help you find nearby Level 3 DC fast-charging stations.
Premium Design: The innovation that powers every all-electric Mercedes-Benz goes into the design of the exterior and interior of each vehicle, too. Prepare for the most stylish and streamlined Mercedes-Benz models yet!
When you go electric, you can say goodbye to engine maintenance like changing oil and replacing spark plugs! The service center at Mercedes-Benz of Riverside is ready to help with the different service needs of an EV, such as tire inspections and electric battery checks.
When you make the switch to an EV, you’ll likely notice that the sticker price is a bit higher than those on similar gasoline-powered vehicles. You’ll recoup that cost in gasoline, maintenance savings, and tax incentives. Shop our new EV specials for potential discounts on your next Mercedes-Benz EV.
Your electric Mercedes-Benz is easy to charge! Let us help you find the best charging station for your home. EV chargers are designated as Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Level 1 charging is the slowest, and is accomplished by plugging your EV into a grounded three-prong outlet. While convenient, it can take several days to get a full charge. Most home chargers and many public charging stations are Level 2, which is significantly faster. Your vehicle will be fully charged overnight. Level 3 charging is the fastest. It uses a direct current which isn’t compatible with home electric panels, so you’ll find these in public. They can take a battery from 20 percent to 80 percent charged in about an hour.
Most home charging stations are priced from $500–$800. Installation prices depend on the charger you choose and your electrician’s pricing. Installation generally costs from $750–$1,750.
Plan on your home charger installation taking about a half-day.
In Riverside, you’re required to get a permit from the Building and Safety Division of the Community and Economic Development Department. If you live outside the Riverside city limits, contact your town’s administrative office for information.
