Performance
Under the hood of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz CLS coupe is a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine also adds an integrated second-generation starter-generator and a 48-volt electrical system. The engine shows its true power and efficiency, and when combined with a now-standard 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive, the new coupe takes cues from AMG® features for an exhilarating performance.
Design
While the new Mercedes-Benz CLS coupe highlights premium performance levels, it still holds an elegant nature to both the exterior and interior. The front end features a new AMG®-specific front bumper with a black A-wing, striking new air intakes, and a new radiator grille with a three-pointed star pattern and chrome-gloss surfacing, providing an aggressive appearance.
On the interior, there are a wide variety of wood trim finishes and leather seat upholstery. These high-quality materials create a stylish and luxurious look and feel for you and your passengers in your 2022 Mercedes-Benz coupe.
Technology
At the center of it all rests in the cockpit a distinctive 12.3 touchscreen display. With this touchscreen and redesigned multi-functioning steering wheel, you access your MBUX infotainment and navigation system.
On your steering wheel, a two-zone sensor pad in the rim of the wheel provides sensors on the front and back that detect when your hands are on the wheel. This advanced technology does not require steering movement to inform the driver assistance systems that you are in control.
